Monday:
we used a Hoffman apparatus to see that water can be broken down into hydrogen and oxygen, and that the ratio of hydrogen to oxygen is always 2:1. we also used a flame to recombine hydrogen and oxygen into water.
we watched part of the "Ring of Truth" episode on atoms.

We watched the video Gases and how they Combine. We went over the last questions on worksheet 2. No Homework
Thursday
We finished the Gases video then did an online simulator of some early chemical reactions. (many of these reactions use hazardous materials, so we don't do them in class) the simulator is called Dalton's Playhouse.
we also did a worksheet tied to the simulator, and have a reading over the weekend on Democritus to Dalton. both are available below
